Utah soldier killed in Afghanistan

The Department of Defense is identifying a Utah soldier killed in Afghanistan last week.

Officials announced over the weekend Sergeant 1st Class Dustin Ard died August 29th from wounds received while engaging in combat operations.

The 31-year-old from Hyde Park was assigned to the 1st Special Forces Group at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington.
