A Salt Lake City man is dead after a rafting accident on the Weber River.

The Summit County Sheriff's Office says the unidentified 69-year-old man died yesterday after his raft overturned and he became caught between two rocks.

Three other people rafting with the man were able to make out of the river on their own.

The Sheriff's Office said the river is currently very fast and very cold, and that rafters may want to consider waiting until runoff season is over before trying to navigate it.
