Utah's two U.S. senators aren't happy that money for construction at Hill Air Force Base is being diverted to build more of a border wall between the U.S. and Mexico.

Republican Senator Mitt Romney released a statement yesterday saying he was disappointed that 54-million-dollars designated for Utah projects was being diverted to fund the border wall.

Romney said the White House should have used the appropriate channels of Congress to fund the wall.

Republican Senator Mike Lee said the diversion of the construction funding shows that the executive branch has been given too much power and that balance between the three branches of the government needs to be restored.
