Former UVU wrestler arrested in second assault case

A former wrestler for Utah Valley University already charged with rape has been arrested in a second assault case.

Orem Police say 23-year-old Dayton Racer sexually assaulted a woman earlier this month that he met through a dating app.

According to the victim, she met the suspect at his home where he changed their plans for their date, and eventually assaulted her in his bedroom.

Racer was charged with rape last year after another woman reported that he assaulted her in his tent at the Bonanza Campout Music Festival in Heber.
