Findlay Automotive Donates Over $16,000 to Sheriff’s Search and Rescue

Findlay Automotive of Utah sponsored their 9^th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on June 7th at The Ledges Golf Course, and have raised $16,750.00 for the Washington County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Team.

They would like to invite the community to join them on August 26, 2019 at 10:00 am at their Subaru dealership (located at 1453 S. Sunland Drive, St. George, UT 84790) as they present the Washington County Sheriff’s Department with that donation.

In 2018, Washington County had 132 search and rescues.

This year so far, they have made 86 rescues and counting.

The Search and Rescue department has a small budget, but most equipment and tools are contributed by the volunteers that make up the team.

Donations are a great way to help the organization purchase and properly maintain much needed equipment.

Findlay Automotive has raised almost $100,000 for the Washington County Search and Rescue over the past 9 years.
