Brigham Young University's Honor Code Office is making another policy change ahead of the upcoming school year.

Students who are called in for a meeting will now be informed of the specific reasons for their visit beforehand.

Previously, students would receive a generic phone call from the HCO, asking them to set up an appointment where they would learn about the reported misconduct.

The change comes after a series of protests and social media campaigns organized by students and alumni, criticizing previous policies from the LDS Church-owned school.
