Zions-Mount Carmel Highway Closed Due to Weather

Due to hazardous winter conditions, the Zions Mount-Carmel Highway on State Route 9 through the park is closed Tuesday, officials say.

The highway is closed from the from Canyon Junction to the East entrance, according to authorities.

Rangers said they will assess the road on Wednesday morning to determine when it is safe to reopen.
