Woman who interrupted General Conference to go on trial
A woman who interrupted a session of the General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is about to go on trial.
Crystal Legionaires said that she will be tried in justice court in Salt Lake City next week after rejecting a plea offer made by prosecutors.
Legionaires interrupted the session of the April 2018 General Conference by shouting "stop protecting sexual predators."
She faces a misdemeanor charge of disrupting a meeting.
