Woman Shot by Officer in Parowan Pleads Guilty

The woman police say burglarized several cars at a Parowan truck stop in June pleads guilty. Ivonne Casimiro entered the plea to attempted vehicle theft and assaulting a police officer in court earlier this week. Casimiro and two others were reportedly breaking into the vehicles when officers arrived and she made a threatening move, forcing them to shoot and hit her in the leg. Iron County's Critical Incident Task Force did not file charges against the officer but said the shooting wasn't justified.
