Woman Dies After Being Hit by a Food Truck in Kanab

A woman is dead after she was hit by a food truck in Kanab Wednesday evening.

Utah Highway Patrol troopers said the incident happened at 6:54 p.m. when a husband and a wife were in a crosswalk crossing from west to east on SR-89A.

A food truck was traveling west on SR-89 turning onto SR-89A when troopers said the driver of the truck failed to see the husband and wife in the crosswalk due to the sun in his eyes.
