UPDATE: No Growth on Dalton Wash Fire Burning near Virgin

UPDATE: Dalton Wash Fire saw no growth during yesterday’s operational period, and it was mapped at 350 acres. Firefighters made good progress working with air resources to construct and secure the fireline over the last 36 hours.

(Virgin, UT) -- The wildfire burning in Washington County has grown to about six-hundred acres. Utah Fire Info reports the Dalton Walsh Fire has no containment as it burns east of Virgin. Authorities say a vehicle rollover sparked the fire. No structures have burned, but evacuations were put in place for a site containing a tiny home community.
