West Valley Utility Warning Customers

A West Valley City utility is warning customers about a group going door to door and offering to test their water.

The Granger-Hunter Improvement District General Manager Clint Jensen says he's received several calls about people asking to enter homes in the district in order to do a free water test.

Jensen says the district doesn't know who the testers represent or the motive behind offering the water tests.

He feels the free test may be a marketing scheme designed to sell a product like water softening.
