Utah Valley University and Mountainland Technical College have signed a series of agreements to help transition students from the technical college to the university.

Under the "seamless educational pathways" partnership, students in certain programs will not have to repeat classes when transitioning from MTECH to UVU.

The partnership will allow students to graduate more quickly, while at the same time giving them the chance to find better-paying jobs if they decide to work while finishing a four-year degree.
