Utah’s tech sector helping with personal protective equipment

Utah's tech sector is finding ways to get personal protective equipment into the hands of medical workers and first responders around the state. 

A shipment of face masks, gowns, eye protection and other supplies was flown into Salt Lake City International Airport yesterday. 

InsideSales.com CEO David Elkington is part of a group of tech sector executives who have been working with the state to help deal with the coronavirus emergency. 

Two of those executives used their connections in China to help secure the protective gear. 

Yesterday's shipment is one of several that will be arriving in the state over the next few weeks.
