Utahn’s Getting New Drivers Licenses

The state of Utah wants all drivers to know the ins and outs of getting a new license that complies with state and federal laws.  The Driver's License Division has posted a video to its website that explains the time frame for getting new licenses and why the change is necessary.  State lawmakers passed a bill last week that brings Utah into compliance with federal security requirements.  Utahns will continue to be able to board airplanes and enter federal buildings as long as their license has the required gold star on it by 2020.
