A Utah man is on a mission to make the lines on state roadways more visible during bad weather.

Nick Bodkin has gained more than nine-thousand signatures on a change.org petition he plans to send to the governor.

The petition seeks to have the Utah Department of Transportation restripe road lines with a paint that would be more reflective when it rains or snows.

UDOT spokesperson John Gleason says the agency already uses reflective beads in its road lines, but is experimenting with some new paint that might be more visible in bad weather.
