Utah Could Host a 2020 Presidential Debate

The political world could revolve around the University of Utah for at least one night next year.  UtahPolicy.com reports that the Utah Debate Commission plans to apply to host one of the debates in the 2020 presidential election.  Commission officials say the Huntsman Center would provide the adequate space needed for the event, and Salt Lake City's TRAX system that runs to the university will be a big selling point.  Utah nearly hosted a debate in 2016 when the Commission on Presidential Debates attempted to organize a debate focused on foreign policy at Brigham Young University.
