Utah companies give away free desks

Utah companies are giving out free desks for remote learning and work. Utah-based company Walker Edison was giving out free desks through a social media giveaway.

Company CEO Brad Bonham says the decision to give free desks came after his own employees started working remotely and did not have home office desks. Smaller companies like Salt Lake City's Homewood Creations have been doing the same.

Workers there have been volunteering overtime hours to make the desks with the company's excess wood.
