Trump Supports Senator Mike Lee’s Bill

President Trump is supporting a bipartisan criminal justice reform bill that Senator Mike Lee of Utah co-authored.  The First Step Act would shorten the lengths of minimum mandatory sentences for some crimes.  In a Fox News op-ed Lee said that excessive prison sentences for non-violent offenders do more harm than good.
