Sheriff’s Office Issue Warning About Phone Scam

The Washington County Sheriff's Office wants you to be aware of a phone scam making the rounds.  Authorities say the scammers are mirroring sheriff's office numbers and names, threatening people with arrest if they aren't sent money.  The sheriff's office says several people have been hit by the scam in the last few weeks.  They remind you they would never call asking for payment to prevent arrests.
