The St. George Police Department arrested Dr. Brent Noorda on Wednesday on 20 counts of Forcible Sexual Abuse.

The Utah Department of Processional Licensing (DOPL) had been contacted by patients of Dr. Noorda of Balanced Healthcare with concerns about his actions during chiropractic appointments.

The complainants learned there may be criminal violations that had been committed.

On July 30, 2019, the St. George Police Department began receiving calls concerning the issues surrounding Dr. Noorda.

Evidence in support of Dr. Noorda's arrest indicates his conduct during chiropractic appointments involved inappropriate touching of body parts for sexual gratification, which was criminal in nature, and not in keeping with professional medical standards.

Victims reported inappropriate touching both over and under their clothing.

To date, four victims have been identified and detectives are learning of the possibility of additional victims.

The investigation is ongoing and the potential for more victims and additional charges are possible.

Detectives with the St. George Police Department are asking anyone with information they believe may be related to this investigation to the call St. George Police Detective Tip Line at 435-627-4338.
