Red flag and high wind warning issued for Southwest Utah

Southwest Utah is under a red flag and excessive wind warning today until 9 p.m.

This means that critical fire conditions are expected and any fires that start may spread rapidly as the region may see low humidity and gusts of winds up to 50-miles-per-hour.

Citizens are urged take extra precautions to avoid starting a wildfire.
