Person Living In Washington County Exposed To Rabies Infected Bat

A person living in Washington County is being treated for exposure to a bat infected with rabies.  The Southwest Utah Public Health Department says the person was exposed earlier this week and got a vaccine to treat the virus.  Health officials remind you to not get close to any animal you believe may be infected with rabies but if you do, to contact your doctor right away.
