A top official with the U.S. Department of the Interior is in Ogden today to evaluate the potential the city has to become the new headquarters for the Bureau of Land Management. Assistant Secretary Susan Combs and Republican Congressman Rob Bishop will be part of a roundtable discussion this afternoon at the Weber County Commission Chambers. The visit comes as the Federal Government considers several new locations for the BLM to operate out of. Colorado is also considered a frontrunner for the federal office.
