Occupants killed in Wayne County airplane crash identified

Authorities are releasing the names of a California couple who died when their small plane crashed in southern Utah last week.

Wayne County officials say Christian C. Simonsen and Lynne Ann Anderson-Simonsen of Morgan Hill, California died when the plane went down on May 24th on Miner's Mountain Road near Grover.

Before the crash, witnesses saw the plane disappear and heard an explosion, then saw smoke.
