New outdoor retail show coming to Salt Lake City

A new outdoor retail show is ready to come to Salt Lake City this upcoming summer.

The Big Gear Show will hold a five-day event at the Salt Palace starting on July 21st that will be open to the public.

This comes after Salt Lake City lost the Outdoor Retailer tradeshow in 2017 after organizers moved to Denver in protest over Utah lawmakers' support of downsizing the Bears Ears National Monument.
