A new building at Hill Air Force Base will help bolster the nation's defense efforts by helping upgrade military jets.

The 35-million-dollar software support facility will house the 309th Software Maintenance Group.

According to the base officials, labs inside the building house state-of-the-art engineering labs used to sustain the technology used on the F-22 Raptor and the new F-35 Lightning Two.

About 400 personnel will work at the center.
