Man who fired stray bullet facing criminal charges
A man who allegedly fired a stray bullet that injured a young boy in Sanpete County is now facing criminal charges.
Camryn Summerhays was charged last week with illegally discharging a firearm and reckless endangerment.
Investigators say the bullet went through a car windshield on Highway 89 near Mount Pleasant, striking a ten-year-old boy in the shoulder.
Doctors were able to remove the bullet and say the boy's wound was not life-threatening.
