Man Who Approached Juveniles Apprehended by SGPD
On 1/16/19, SGPD received a report of a male who had approached a group of juveniles and offered them candy. An alert parent saw the exchange and intervened. She was also able to get a photo of the suspect.
The male, later identified as Jefferey "Duston" Lambert, was located after an extensive effort by The Special Enforcement Division, and Patrol Division of the St George Police Department, and the public.
After a complete and thorough investigation, Duston Lambert was arrested on 1/18/19 and charged with the following:
Disorderly Conduct, Terroristic Threats, Reckless Driving, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana.
We can confirm that the candy was not laced with Fentanyl, and there has never been a case of this ever confirmed in St. George. We want to thank the public for their help with this case and others.
