Man dead after car crashes into In-N-Out Burger

A Las Vegas man is dead and several people are recovering from injuries after a car hit a pedestrian and then crashed into a fast-food restaurant in Washington City.

Police say an SUV hit someone in the parking lot of an In-N-Out Burger Saturday afternoon, then hit their accelerator by mistake.

The SUV crashed into the restaurant, injuring multiple people.

Antonio Mendoza died from his injuries after being taken to the hospital.

“Mendoza was seated inside the restaurant where the vehicle collided,”

According to Washington City Police Lt. Kory Klotz. The crash is still being investigated.
