Man Accused Of Swiping City Golf Cart

A man faces three charges after allegedly swiping a city of Saint George-owned golf cart for what he called a joy ride.  Investigators say Ian Shaw took the cart from the Saint George Waste Services Department and a short time later ran toward the Virgin River late last week.  Police took the 36-year-old into custody on felony theft, trespassing and failing to stop on an officer command.
