Majority of U of U Female Students Don’t Report Sexual Assaults
The majority of University of Utah female students who say they had been sexually assaulted at an off-campus school event did not report the incidents.
A new survey from Safety Advisers for Educational Campuses shows that 80-percent of undergraduate women who reported they had been assaulted did not report what had happened.
More than a quarter of the women who filled out the survey said they had been sexually assaulted at off-campus events.
