Lt. Governor Cox Exploring Run for Governor

Lt. Governor Spencer Cox is apparently ready to explore a run to succeed Gary Herbert as governor of Utah.  Herbert will host a two-thousand-dollar a plate fundraiser for Cox on January 22nd at the Little America Hotel.  A family member confirmed that the fundraiser is a way of exploring how much support there would be for a Cox campaign.  The lieutenant governor's office would not comment on the event or Cox's future plans.
