Utah lawmakers will consider a bill that could repeal the Count My Vote initiative.  Under legislation from Republican State Senator Dan McCay, candidates would no longer be able to gather signatures to get onto a primary ballot, forcing them to instead go through the party convention system.  Supporters of Count My Vote say the dual-path option to the ballot has proven to be popular with Utah voters, and argue that lawmakers should instead focus on fixing the law instead of trying to fully repeal it.
