Governor has message for LGBTQ youth

Governor Herbert is telling LGBTQ youth in Utah to never give up on their dreams.

The governor sent a statement welcoming those youth attending the Encircle Summit over the weekend.

In the letter, the governor said that he hoped those youth knew they were loved, and told them not to let others intimidate them or put them down.

Herbert said the state is lucky to have intelligent individuals like those attending the conference as future leaders, educators and members of society.
