Former U.S. Secretary to speak at SUU

CEDAR CITY, Utah (KDXU) - Former U.S. Secretary of State Dr. Condoleezza Rice will be the commencement speaker for Southern Utah University. 

The institution says Rice will speak during the 9 a.m. ceremony on April 29 at the American First Event Center in Cedar City.  SUU will award her an honorary doctorate. 

Rice was scheduled to be the commencement speaker in 2020, but that was postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
