Former Iron County Board Member Threatened Over Mascot Name Change

A former member of the Iron County School District Board is frightened after she received a threatening phone call Wednesday.

Becki Bronson said her daughter was the one who picked up the phone when an anonymous caller threatened harm to both of them.

Bronson became the target of rumors that she had planned to remove Cedar High School's Redmen mascot before the board created a committee to decide on it. Bronson moved out of the district in 2018.
