A man will spend just under a year in jail for his role in the severe abuse of a child by his mother.  Russell Jaynes was sentenced yesterday after pleading guilty to a child abuse that caused injury through negligence and recklessness charge in Washington County.  Jaynes was actually the person to rescue his 12-year-old son from his wife, Brandy Jaynes, who reportedly locked the boy in a feces covered bathroom for more than a year at a home in Toquerville.  The boy weighed just 30 pounds when he was found.  Brandy Jaynes is currently serving a sentence that could keep her behind bars for 45 years.
