Environmental Analysis Underway For Lake Powell Pipeline

The environmental analysis for a pipeline to bring water to southern Utah from Lake Powell is now underway. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission announced this week they had approved the review and will now take public comment on the pipeline for 60 days.  The proposed pipeline could bring up to 77 million gallons of water every day to Saint George and could cost up to one-point-eight billion dollars.
