Elderly Couple Hit in Hurricane

An elderly couple continues to recover from serious injuries after being hit by a car while crossing a Hurricane street.  Police reported yesterday the man and woman were not in a crosswalk and were hit on 800 West late Saturday.  Police did not specify what injuries they sustained.  Investigators say the driver won't be charged because the couple wasn't in a crosswalk and it was difficult to see them because of the lack of light.
