The Utah Department of Public Safety is issuing a warning after a series of overdoses earlier this month in Salt Lake City.  Officials with DPS say they were forced to use the drug Naloxone to counteract the effects of four overdoses that were reportedly caused by the use of the synthetic drug spice.  Investigators believe the spice may have been mixed with or contaminated by an opioid during the manufacturing process.  DPS is warning police and other first responders to be aware of the possible contamination, since exposure to an unknown opioid could be dangerous.
