Former Provo Mayor John Curtis is officially the newest Republican congressman from Utah.  The winner of the special election in Utah's Third Congressional District was sworn in by House Speaker Paul Ryan yesterday in Washington, DC.  Curtis made a short speech to the House to assure members that he would be happy to work in a bipartisan way on crucial issues.  He then cast his first vote as a congressman, voting yes on a bill to approve the Federal Acquisitions Savings Act.
