Conservation officers in Utah concerned with boaters bypassing mandatory inspection stations

DWR conservation officers are concerned about the number of boaters who are bypassing mandatory inspection stations across the state.

Those stations are in place to prevent invasive quagga mussels from spreading to Utah waterways and recreation areas.

In the coming weeks, additional DWR law enforcement officers will be onsite at the stations, and they will be pursuing, stopping and citing individuals who try to bypass the mandatory inspections.
