A state lawmaker is sponsoring a bill that would ban abortions in Utah after 15 weeks.  State Representative Cheryl Acton of West Jordan filed a bill yesterday that would reduce the current restriction on abortions by five weeks.  Acton's bill would keep exceptions in the current law that allow abortions for rape, incest or complications that threaten the health of the mother and the unborn.  Planned Parenthood of Utah already threatening a lawsuit if the bill is signed into law.
