Bighorn Sheep on Antelope Island Being Put Down

Bighorn sheep living on Antelope Island in Davis County will have to be put down.  The Division of Wildlife Resources says a devastating respiratory disease has infected the entire herd in the area, and there is no treatment available to help them.  Last year, wildlife officials counted about 150 animals in the herd.  Earlier this week, biologists only counted 26.
