Police in Hurricane are praising three kids for turning in money they found as they walked to a bus stop and are now looking for owners. In a post on the Hurricane Police Department's Facebook page, they recognized Riley, Alexis and Scottland for their "integrity and desire to do what is right". Police said the three found a substantial amount of money on their way to the bus stop with no identification. "Even without any prompting from adults they decided to turn the property over to the police department," said the post. "We thank them for their honesty and see them as an example of good in the community." Police are also reminding people in the community that if you've lost something, they might have it. If you have lost anything, you can contact the evidence technician Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 435-635-9663 ext. 125.
