Elections officials say more people have already voted early in Utah this year than in the entire 2014 midterm elections.   Nearly 48 percent of registered voters in Utah have either voted by mail or voted early in person, casting more than 667-thousand ballots.  In the 2014 midterms, a total of just over 46 percent of registered voters took part, casting almost 578-thousand ballots.  Polls are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. today.  People who aren't registered to vote can register at the polls and vote the same day with a valid form of I.D. and proof of residence.  You can also drop off your mail-in ballot if you didn't get it in the mail by Monday's deadline.
