27 Year Old Man Arrested After High Speed Chase

Troopers arrested a 27-year-old man in Delta after, they say, he lead them on a high-speed chase through two counties.

Utah Highway Patrol says Christian Harmond stole a 2016 Ford Explorer from a Tooele body shop then got into a hit and run around 6:50 am Saturday near Eureka on S.R. 36.

Troopers caught up with the driver a short time after the hit and run and started the pursuit, but they called it off as they neared Delta.

Troopers say the SUV took off from through residential areas before finally crashing into a ditch near 400 South and 700 East in Delta.
